Real Time Tracking's Visual-AI technology is video-based, so there is no requirement for a tracked-target to wear - or be aware - of any special marker or tag, nor be subject to additional restrictions from their normal routines and behaviors in any way, and yet, they may still be.
- Monitored in Real Time
- Reliably Identified
- Accurately located in the real world
At the core of RTT's Intellectual Property, are highly efficient, real time image decomposition & semantic-feature extraction routines, that make powerful levels of analysis possible at a greatly reduced computational overhead.
Equally important to its application potential, is the ability of RTT's Visual AI to accomodate the use of very low source-image data quality, and yet still attain new & sophisticated levels of operational performance.

Real Time Monitoring:
Updated positional and activity data is available for each and every tracked-target, at rates from 10 to 100 times a second - depending upon the application requirements. RTT's Visual-AI can acquire and identify targets within a few hundred milliseconds of their first entering an action area.
Reliable Identification:
RTT's visual recognition algorithms can seperate and uniquely identify either pre-selected or dynamic operator-nominated objects of interest within the scene. This could be Dog number six, Shopper 20, or Enemy Number One. The technology can scale to accomodate any number of simultaneous objects, although the largest design to date has been for 72 concurrent targets.
Accurate Location:
RTT's Visual-AI technology works in the natural 3D world, providing simple x, y, z positional coordinates relating to the calibrated Action Area. Any target's position inside the Action Area can be placed to within 50mm - or less - depending on customer need and budget. Action Areas vary in size, and can be extended in zones to cover whatever physical area is required - indoors, outdoors, or both !

All-Weather, Many-Purpose:
RTT's Visual AI has been engineered to remain robust across the spectrum of commonly found internal and external environments - from the factory floor, though the office complex, up the high street and onto the Football pitch - to name but a few....
Wide varieties of Object type, size, shape and composition have been included in the design process.
Least Cost Architecture:
RTT have focussed its research programs, on developing highly-advanced software solutions that rely upon economically accessible, well established - even basic - image technologies.
We have found that the use of more established, dependable and relatively inexpensive platforms have proven key to success, both on high-reliability mission-critical programs, as well as meeting the cost aspirations for larger scale more ambitious projects.
